Our Story
When we started in 2023, the only focus was to look for an answer to: Can learning NOT feel like learning?
We are, Kalyani and Noopura — one an educator who believes Intrapersonal and Interpersonal skills are how humans find themselves, the other a Multidisciplinary Artist and Facilitator who knows that making things is quietly revolutionary.
The result was Imagination Box.
Not a class. Not a course. Something harder to name and easier to feel — a space where a ten-year-old discovers she can run a business, where a tired professional remembers what it feels like to make something beautiful, where a parent and child spend an afternoon elbow-deep in indigo dye and come home closer than when they left.
Three years in, we're still asking the same question. And the answers keep surprising us.
Our Philosophy
We don't hand out instructions. We hand over ownership.
Whether it's a child deciding how to price her first product or an adult committing to a colour she's never tried before — every Imagination Box experience puts the maker in charge. Techniques are taught in the moment of doing, never as a lecture. Concepts land because they are lived, not explained.
This is what we mean by experiential learning. Not a methodology. A deeply held belief about how people actually grow.
Our Values
Screen-Free by Design Every Imagination Box experience is built around the tactile, the physical, and the present. Not as a reaction to technology — as a commitment to what hands and minds can do without it.
Educator-Owned Both founders are practitioners, not administrators. Kalyani and Noopura are in the room for every workshop, bringing the same rigour and warmth they brought to the very first one.
Equitable Access to Skill-Building Creative confidence is not a privilege. We design our programmes to be accessible across ages, backgrounds, and abilities — because every mind deserves the experience of making something real.
Premium, Never Generic We don't do one-size-fits-all. Every workshop, kit, and programme is considered, crafted, and held to a standard we'd want for ourselves.
